My name is Atinuke Olubunmi Akindiya. But My friends call me Tinu. I’m from Ogun State, a part of the Yoruba tribe in Nigeria.
My parents are Yoruba so that makes me a full fledged Nigerian*winks..
But honestly, I love everything about being African:
the culture, the language and especially the food..😉
Just in case you didn’t know, I’m a foodie.. I love chicken, suya etc..
Here’s a picture of my four favourite meals..
Hope I dint get you too hungry.. *lol
GROWING UP
I was born and bred in Rivers State, its located in the southern part of Nigeria.. The place is so beautiful and the people are amazingly nice..
HOBBIES
Movies and novels are my idea of a good time. My favorite movie would be Titanic. Its one of the greatest movies of all time.
If you’ve watched the movie, please comment. I would love to know how you would have ended the movie if you were given a chance *winks
Fashion And I
I love keeping up with trending fashion styles.. However, I personally define my fashion.. My reason is simple.. I believe that you don’t have to follow the crowd.. You can be unique, stand out and still be beautiful..
Honestly if you do so, people will love you for it, many of them will imitate you and viola! You would have created your own fashion style.. I know it sounds simple but that’s because it is actually very simple.
OBSESSIONS
I’m obsessed with dresses and tops. A lady can never have too many dresses and tops.. Ladies y’all agree?
In fact, on tinutrends, you would find my daily outfit posts, inspiration, current cravings and my life style routine.
Another obsession I have is hair.. I love full, beautiful and healthy hair..
I honestly admire women with such.
Sadly, a lot of people believe that African hair can’t grow long.
Did you know though that virtually every woman could have beautiful long hair regardless of where you come from and regardless of whether you’re relaxed, natural or texlaxed.. How, you might wonder?

Nice knowing you and we have something in common. I am an unapologetic foodie.. I eat almost everything. Plus I haven’t seen Titanic, I sleep off whenever it’s on play. Reason is, romance is amazingly boring to me.

I’m glad with your creativity Tinu.
You’ve reminded my of the uniqueness and pride of African tradition.
Particularly the pictures you’ve made there, they’re sweet.
Well done!

I deliberately didn’t talk about the food part.
Those pictures are enticing.
I reminded me of the last time I ate eba.
Keep them coming Tinu.
Remember to invite me over when you making such preparations yourself.
I’ll like to be of help in the kitchen.
Hahaha
