| How To Look Stylish In A Big Shirt|

My sincere apologies for not posting anything new for the past two weeks. I was a tad sick, nothing I hate more than feeling weak, bitter mouth and constant headache arghhh!!.. But thank God that’s over now..

So today’s article is on how to style a BIG shirt or blouse..

Why You Should Join This Trend?

Big tops are so flattering on generally everyone.. It doesn’t matter whether you’re slender or chubby. It would make you look stunning.

How To Join The Trend

Step 1 | Select A Top
So the first thing I did was pick a top.. I have so many big tops but I ended up picking this plain orange chiffon top that I got from Boohoo.. You can get a similar chiffon top from almost any boutique..

Style Tip | Roll Up Sleeves

So one of my favourite things to do which instantly makes any plain shirt look better is to roll up the sleeves.. It helps to make the outfit fit and flatter me more..

Step 2 | Trouser / Skirt
Next I went with this pair of plain blue jeans. I got this jeans for less than $3.. Which is about N1500.. I love this jeans by the way cos they fit like a second skin😉

A fashion rule I live by is if its baggy on the top, match it with something tight on the bottom.
I personally think its a very easy rule to follow.

Now, its time for:

Step 3 | Accessories

I wore this gold wrist watch that I got from Wingblow along with my pair of sunglasses.. As you can see it added a little flavour to my outfit.
Its such a simple tip but it can make such a big difference.

Step 4 | Shoes

These shoes are from jackswell
The shoes you pick are also a great way to dress up your big top.. You could choose to wear a pair of heels to accentuate the outfit. But I wasn’t really going for that just cos I wanted more of a casual look

And this finishes off the outfit

And now I’m just smiling and laughing, like I always do.. Cos yeah I look good and I know it.. 😉Lol

I hope you guys like this look. I mean its pretty simple and hopefully you can find something similar in your closet.

  4. Oh Hun! You’re looking absolutely gorgeous. I personally found oversized tees so awesome for slim ladies who are struggling to look good. With just a skinny bottom and perfect accessories, all is fine.

You look gorgeous Tinu and with your figure, everything looks good on you! I agree, a baggy shirt/top looks best with skinny jeans or fitted pants. 🙂

Glad to hear you (were) feeling better after your malaise.

Now, how about a sincere apology for your absence for the past two years plus?* 😉

    * My sincere apologies if it’s because your malaise returned and dealt you a fatal blow….
